DIRECTING CAPSTONE

Senior Capstone class using the etude method on 10 minute plays. 9 35 minute rehearsals in class and 1 60 minute rehearsal outside of class.
The Play: The Next Mrs. Jacob Anderson by Ann Wuehler. The story of a woman meeting her husbands mistress at a farmers market and exploring the idea of identity.
DIRECTING 1 CWRU
Professor: Jerrold Scott
Lecture-style theory-based directing class using cocnepts such as The Dramatic Triad, Inciting Incident, culminating in a final project where a very large concept was to be put on to a show and then pitched to the class. Three shows were then picked for ‘the season’
Project on: Frankenstein (2011). Modern setting. 2nd place.
